Overview of the program work at the International District Housing Alliance
IDHA uses a multi-pronged approach to its work within the community. This work is reflected in our five programs that focus on specific community needs and collaboration with community partners to improve the quality of life for the people we serve.
Core areas that define the work we do:
- Stabilization – Services that assist clients with finding and maintaining safe and affordable housing
- Education & Asset Building – Educational and counseling activities that help clients navigate multiple social systems and build their own resource and network capacities
- Community Building – Community organizing and advocacy that empower neighborhoods and communities.
