Stabilization
Information on our Housing Services program.
Achieving individual and community stability involves access to safe and affordable housing. IDHA works with clients to secure and maintain safe and affordable housing as the cornerstone to stability in their lives.
Housing Services
IDHA’s Housing Services program has helped reduce homelessness by providing housing advocacy and stabilization services to immigrant, refugee, and limited English proficient (LEP) populations in Seattle’s Chinatown/International District (CID) and greater Seattle area. Multilingual staff with deep community roots help clients address cultural barriers to maintaining their housing in times of crisis.
The Housing Services program provides support services along a spectrum of activities:
- Eviction prevention
- Landlord-tenant mediation
- Emergency rental assistance
- Tenant outreach and education
- Application assistance, information and referral
- Housing assistance to victims of domestic violence
